Gatsby's legendary parties were known for their fabulous entertainment. Guests would dance the Charleston and Foxtrot under a moonlit tent while enjoying an abundance of food and libations. This year's Cadillac Ball will whisk you back to these grand times.

To make things interesting, there will be a costume contest. Prizes will be given in four categories: Best Men's Costume, Best Women's Costume, Best Couple's Costumes, and Most Creative Costume.

Lucky Diamond and The Gents 'O Jive

"Lucky Diamond and The Gents 'O Jive," a '20s and '30s hot jazz band, has been performing since the grand opening of the Silver Legacy Hotel & Casino in 1995. Hired by The Circus Circus, initially for three days, the act stayed for 18 months! Since then, they have appeared for private parties and corporate events in the Reno / Tahoe area. From Fats Waller's "Ain’t Misbehavin' to Billy Austin's "Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby," Lucky Diamond and the Gents 'O Jive" deliver ... and how!

Jakki Ford

Jakki is a jazz vocalist originally from Detroit who now lives in Reno, Nevada. She has a long history as a lead singer in Las Vegas and Reno stage shows. Her four octave range can take you from Motown to Broadway. Her "element" is Jazz and she presents the full package, from sultry costumes to slick vocal stylings.

Gershwin pianist Dave Kubin

Dave Kubin came to Reno from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He was with the "Hello Hollywood" stage show for its entire 11 year run. He has appeared frequently with The Captain and Tenille and now plays regularly for the performing acts at Circus Circus in Reno. His musical ability covers all styles of music, including Gershwin.
